🛏️ Dog friendly accommodation by city
Taking the dog on holiday comes down to one question the booking sites bury: does your dog actually sleep in the room with you, or is it camp sites only? We check every stay against the operator's own pet policy and sort them exactly that way, across the destinations Australians actually take their dogs. Dog friendly accommodation: common questions
What counts as dog friendly accommodation here?
A stay where your dog is genuinely welcome, checked against the operator's published pet policy. We split them two ways: "stay inside" means your dog sleeps in the room, cabin or house with you, and "sites only" means dogs are welcome on your own tent or caravan site but not inside the accommodation.
Do dog friendly hotels charge a pet fee?
Some do, some don't, and we note it on each stay. A few charge nothing (Ovolo Woolloomooloo), while others run a per-night or per-stay fee. The fee and any dog size or number limits are on each venue's page.
Which destinations do you cover?
The most popular take-your-dog holiday spots: Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Byron Bay, Port Stephens, Jervis Bay, Mollymook, the Batemans Bay and Eurobodalla coast, the Mornington Peninsula, Noosa, Bright in the Victorian High Country, and Torquay on the Great Ocean Road. More are added as we check them.
