Automatically collected: Usage data via Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, time on site, device type, and general location (city/region level). No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4.
Provided by you: If you submit a venue update or check-in, we collect the message content you provide. We do not require your name or email address to submit.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Usage data is used to understand how the service is being used and to improve it
- Submission content is used to verify and update venue information in our database
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics 4 — usage tracking. Google's privacy policy
- Google Places API — venue lookup and autocomplete
- Anthropic Claude API — AI-generated venue summaries
- Supabase — database hosting
- Vercel — website hosting
- Resend — transactional email
4. Data Retention
Venue submission data is retained indefinitely as part of our database. Usage analytics are retained in accordance with Google Analytics default settings (26 months).
5. Your Rights

We use cookies through Google Analytics for usage tracking purposes only. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
